From Monday 24 to Friday 28 October, a group of 10 people met for an intensive English course.
The Intensive English Course focused on practical communication skills with the emphasis on speaking, listening, reading and writing activities to provide the participants with opportunities to interact with each other.
The five mornings focused on developing communication skills. Task-based learning gives regular and structured opportunities to speak while practicing the skills and language they need to use in everyday life.
The intensive English language course offered a 1-week full immersion in English language, ensuring a good balance between grammar topics and the emphasis on speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. The various activities provided the participants with opportunities to interact with each other.
Vocabulary, idioms and grammar are practiced in interesting and stimulating ways to ensure language improvement for everyone.
The written feedback was very valuable, supportive and constructive, and helpful to all participants who were coming from different backgrounds: The students usually attend FGB English workshops whether it be with Sandy’s, Stanley’s or Valerie’s. Some participants are only members willing to practice the English skills in a week time.
To end up the workshop, the participants enjoyed an online Halloween escape game that they very much appreciated!
